Patchogue's businesswomen nonprofit to celebrate 11th anniversary
Next month, Power of Women Exchanging Resources, Inc., will hold its 11th Anniversary and 6th “Woman in Business” Award Brunch and Bubbly event in Patchogue.
Power of Women Exchanging Resources, Inc. (POWER) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that supports women inside and outside of business by providing them with opportunities to connect with like-minded women in the community and to share knowledge, resources, and networking ties with each other. The organization also has honored and highlighted the efforts of exemplary women leaders with the Woman in Business Award for going on six years now. The 2023 awardee to be honored at the event will be Sharon Boyd, executive director of Dress for Success Brookhaven.
The Brunch and Bubbly will feature a brunch buffet plus dessert and sparkling beverages. The annual Chinese Action will also take place, as well as a 50/50 raffle. Denise Nostrom, founder and president of Diversified Financial Solutions, will lead the awards ceremony honoring awardee Sharon Boyd. There will also be a networking session where all attendees can mix and mingle with each other and participate in activities, such as exchanging business cards.
The celebration will take place on Sunday, July 9 from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm. The hosting venue will be Sunset Harbor, which is located at 90 Colonial Drive, East Patchogue. Tickets are $75.
