Patchogue to host local arts and music jam
The Pine Barrens Jam (PBJ) returns to Patchogue this year for the third time to offer the community a day jampacked with art, music, and poetry performances.
The creative festival will celebrate the local talent of the area’s artists, musicians, and poets. Serving as Long Island’s first ever crowd-funded festival, the event will be organized and worked by individuals solely from Long Island. There will be three stages at the festival: the Jelly Jam Stage, the Peanut Butter Production Babes Stage, and the Travis Mckeveny Singer-Song Writer Stage. The lineup includes Enrose, Kaido, Tim Saliani, Tim Thomson, and Sarah Gross. There will also be a kids’ corner with its own age-appropriate live music and entertainment.
Admission is free this year, but organizers are also offering special VIP packages for those looking for something extra special and who would also like to support the event financially. This package will include a pre-fest brunch, a reserved VIP table located at each stage, and a PBJ 2023 Artist Poster featuring the artists’ unique graphic design.
The PBJ festival is scheduled for Sunday, August 20 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm. It will be held at Blue Point Brewing Company, which is a local craft brewery located at 225 West Main Street. VIP tickets are available for $28.76 on the Eventbrite listing.
