Patchogue restaurant to host Elvis Presley event
This February, Patchogue’s Pine Grove Inn will host the Elvis Dinner and a Show event for fans of the late King of Rock.
Founded in 1920, Pine Grove Inn is Patchogue’s oldest standing restaurant and was originally tavern and inn for businessmen and travelers. It has a colorful history that includes being utilized for rum running during the Prohibition, as local legend goes. Locals now know it is as a premier culinary destination that serves up traditional German food and holds lively special events.
February’s event will treat guests to an Elvis Presley impersonator show presented by Steve Mitchell. Attendees will also enjoy a three-course dinner prepared by the Pine Grove Inn chefs. For appetizers, guests can choose from potato pancakes, French onion soup, the Pine Grove Salad, or the trio sampler. For entrees, the choices are chicken pappardelle, Pine Grove Burger sauerbraten, wiener schnitzel, or shrimp and scallop risotto. For dessert, the choices are apple strudel, chocolate mousse cake, cheesecake, or ice cream.
Restaurants advertising special events may decide to use local flyer printing services to create enough flyers to hang about community centers.
Pine Grove Inn’s Elvis Dinner and a Show event is scheduled for February 18 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Pine Grove Inn is located on 1 1st Street, East Patchogue. Tickets are $42.
