Patchogue families head outdoors to fun fair
The Second Annual Family Fun Fair is coming up. The purpose of the event is to inform families about resources in our community that focus on parenting, pregnancy, birth and postpartum issues.
Over 40 vendors will be on site passing out information about their goods and services while selling related merchandise.
For those attendees expecting babies, there will be midwife, doula, and birth services such as The Purple Doula, Moon Blossom Doula and Birth Services, North Shore Midwifery Services, Gaia Midwives, and Gina Morin with Calm Birth Hypnobirthing.
Photography services will be represented by Seashore Design Studio, Amy Lee Photography, and Kristen Roazka Photography.
The police department will be distributing 12 free car seats and giving installation demonstrations. This activity will require preregistration. The event will also be giving away free children’s ID cards.
Plenty of kids’ games, face painting,and meeting Spider-Man and Paw Patrol’s Marshal the Dog will keep the little ones busy.
Speakers will be giving talks on character development, academic excellence, nature motivation, self-affirmation, chiropractic care during pregnancy, birth education, and water safety. Attendees may want to get business cards from them so that they can keep in touch.
Food trucks will include Mama’s Cuban Kitchen Food Truck and the Little Red Kitchen.
