Patchogue enjoys summer activities
The 2020 Farmingville Street Fair, a 10-minute drive away from Patchogue, is coming in a few weeks.
Since 2012, this event has prided itself on providing a variety of vendors and activities for participants to enjoy. There will be hundreds of vendors selling everything including crafts, toys, jewelry, handmade wares, clothing, and accessories. Guests can pick up handmade tote bags with printed logo designs or other interesting gifts.
Taking place in the summer, this event provides a variety of outdoor activities. For adults, there is a beer garden, the tips from which go to the Time to Make a Difference Scholarship fund.
There will also be a classic car exhibition, for which all owners must pre-register their cars before entering the exhibition. Attendees are encouraged to vote for the car that is Best in Show. For children, there will be bounce structures, a petting zoo, and pony rides. Live music will be presented at the event for the whole family.
The 9th Annual Farmingville Street Fair will be taking place Sunday, June 14th, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The fair is between South Howell Ave. and Leeds Blvd. on 1075 Portion Road. The car exhibition will be taking place just around the corner in the north parking lot of the Faith of God’s Ministry, located at 1070 Portion Road. Admission to the fair has been historically free for attendees, although there is a fee for vendors.
