Patchogue celebrates New Year here in town
Last year’s Midnight on Main Street was such a success that The Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce has decided to have it again this year. The organizers expect more guests this year than the 1600 + people who attended last year.
Everyone is invited to come together to enjoy music, dancing, food, beverages and free noisemakers. Grucci Grand Illuminations will shoot off Fireworks again this year, and in the midst of it all will be the New Year’s Eve ball that has been exclusively designed for this event. The ball drop here in town is considered the only New Year’s Eve ball drop event on Long Island this year. The ball will drop after a countdown to the family-friendly time of 9 pm.
Many local restaurants will remain open before and after the fireworks of this community celebration, and revelers are encouraged to dine out as part of their festivities.
Local businesses such as Patchogue Village, Northstar Signs & Neon, Inc. and the Cirigliano Agency that are some of this year’s supporters, like to support events such as this as part of their community involvement initiatives. This kind of public support can be included in the company’s advertising, such as flyers or brochure printing.
Midnight on Main Street will take place Monday, December 31st on West Main and West Avenue from 7 to 9 pm. The event will be free.
