Patchogue brewhouse to host award-winning bluegrass band
Patchogue bluegrass fans should note that the award-winning band The Infamous Stringdusters will be playing a show at a local brewhouse next month.
The Infamous Stringdusters can be described as a progressive acoustic and bluegrass band, often termed “jamgrass” for their distinct and improvizational sound. The band came away with three awards during the International Bluegrass Music Association Awards Ceremony in 2007, and they also won the Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album in 2018.
The Infamous Stringers are best known for their live performances, and they focus on how their recordings will sound when played live. The Patchogue show comes just ahead of the band’s new album release.
Blue Point Brewpub and Brewing Company will provide the venue space for The Infamous Stringdusters’ performance. Proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test within the previous 72 hours will be required for entry. Only those 21 and up can attend in this venue. Space is limited, so organizers recommend buying tickets as soon as possible.
