Patchogue brewery to host special cask festival
Blue Point Brewing Company will host its 2021 Cask Ales Festival in Patchogue next month to bring unique brews, tunes, and fun to the community.
Blue Points Brewery is a local Long Island brewery boasting two gold medals from the World Beer Cup and in recent years has partnered with Anheuser-Busch to increase vending locations across the country. At the Cask Ales Festival, it will highlight both its traditional brews and more innovative flavors.
The festival will feature more than 70 unique cask flavors such as Pear Milkshake and Rainbow Cookie Porter. For an additional charge, festival-goers can purchase signature ales like Hopitcal Illusion and Spectral Haze. Other Long Island breweries, such as Secatogue Brewing Company, Barrier Brewing Company, and Devils Backbone, will be present to showcase their own signature casks. Live music from Jah Stix, Soundswell, and Ernie & The Band will also be featured.
Attendees must either provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status or a 72-hour negative test result to gain entry.
Blue Point’s Cask Ales Festival is slated for November 6 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Blue Points is located on 225 W Main Street, Patchogue. General admission is $60, while designated driver tickets are $20.
