Village will host the Book Swap Event in Patchogue next month for any book enthusiasts looking to exchange some of their current Books with new material from fellow booklovers.
Village is an online community and landing page that offers a variety of services such as event-planning, retail, education, business support, and relationship-building activities. The organization frequently hosts special events, such as the book swap taking place in January, and is opening a brick-and-mortar location withing two weeks of the book swap date.
Organizers recommend that attendees bring up to 10 gently used Books to the swap. All genres are welcomed, and it is suggested that the Books be a mix of adult and children’s Books to build a larger selection. The event will also serve as an opportunity for attendees to connect with other readers and even make new friends. The swap will take place in a local cocktail bar, but well-behaved children are welcome to accompany their parents.
