Patchogue area workshop to set creativity aflame
Mellow Vibe Candles will hold the Champagne Candle-Making Class near Patchogue in Bohemia next month for anyone interested in learning a new craft.
Mellow Vibe Candles is a shop founded by Christina Wellington in 2012. It started out as a humble operation with Wellington crafting her candles, scented linen sprays, and custom-made gift boxes out of her own home. In 2021, the business expanded into a commercial space where she now hosts various candle-making classes and parties.
The candle-making class in June will teach participants how to make a champagne-scented candle. A team of experienced instructors will be on hand to guide the class through a step-by-step process, beginning with selecting a fragrance, through to pouring and setting the candle. The class is designed to appeal to first-time candlemakers as well as more advanced individuals. There will also be drinks and refreshments served.
Crafting workshops often incorporate instructional brochures that can be printed and handed out to attendees for them to refer to during the class. Local print shops that offer specialized brochure printing services can help organizers print these in bulk.
