Boy scouts to host fall festival for Patchogue
Next month, the Suffolk County Boy Scouts will host a Cub Scout Family Festival and Recruitment event for Patchogue children and their families interested in learning about the cub scout troop while also enjoying fall activities.
At the festival, families will enjoy fall-themed activities, such as a haunted tunnel and pumpkin picking. The children will also be introduced to fun scouting activities while learning about what adventures await them in cub scouts. Parents will have the opportunity to learn more about the Suffolk County Boy Scouts and the ways in which the organization promotes character-building, civic duty, and personal fitness in youth.
Fall festivals like this one often utilize banner printing offered by print shops to create appropriately themed banners for organizers to decorate the festival venue with.
The Cub Scout Family Festival and Recruitment event is scheduled for Saturday, September 25, from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased for $10 for children ages 2 and up, while adult tickets will cost $2. The festival will take place at Woodside Nursery & Garden Center, located at 134 East Woodside Avenue, Patchogue.
