Registration open for Levittown Pre-K program

The Levittown School District is once again accepting applications from parents of children who will be four-years-old by December 1, 2017 for the district's Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program. The program will take place during the 2017-2018 academic year.

Students are chosen for the pre-kindergarten program through a random lottery system. To apply, parents need to submit an interest form to the district on or before March 6. After the application is submitted online, parents will receive a notification immediately. They will then be told when the lottery is going to take place, although they do not have to attend the lottery drawing for their child to be accepted to the pre-K program.

School districts can use printing services to create the documents parents need to fill out before their children are admitted to school programs. If a child is chosen for the pre-K program, parents will be mailed a registration packet, which they will need to complete before the child can attend the school.

The pre-K program starts in September of this year and will continue through June of 2018. The program will meet for 180 half-days. A waiting list will be available for students who are not chosen to attend pre-K during the lottery drawing.

Along with meeting the minimum age requirements, all students who enroll in the program need to be potty trained before school begins.
