A miniature bookshelf-building social event is in the works near Levittown for this October, bringing book-lovers together to create a decorative piece they can add to their living space.
The Build Your Own Bookshelf gathering is being organized by Denise of The Wandering Page Long Island, offering people the chance to shop, socialize, and create a miniature bookshelf complete with multiple Books. After getting settled in, guests will be led by Denise through the process of bringing their miniature bookshelves to life.
Each participant will receive a miniature bookshelf, along with five blank books and three bookshelf accessories to show off their interests and personality. Organizers can trust printing services to provide compelling marketing materials to raise awareness of events like this in the community.
All supplies will be provided with the cost of registration, and no experience is necessary to sign up. The Wandering Page will have hundreds of mini book printouts to ensure that participants can add their favorite novels and stories to their mini shelves. Additional accessories will also be available for purchase at the event.
Avenue Social Kitchen & Cocktails, located on Bedford Avenue in nearby Bellmore, will be hosting the creative gathering. It is slated to start at 5:00 pm on Sunday, October 4. Tickets cost $39.19 per person online.
