Environmentalists and nature lovers in the Levittown area who want to be more involved in helping the environment will no doubt be keen to sign up for the event Quality Parks, Inc. will be hosting this weekend.
The Master Naturalist Program provides a day-long event that will teach guests about conservation, particularly in the freshwater wetlands of the area.
Most of the program focuses on learning about the different creatures that live in the Tackapausha Nature Preserve. Experts will showcase live examples of native animals. They will then discuss the native and introduced animals that live on the preserve.
Quality Parks, Inc. is focused on improving environmental conditions and works with park and preserve managers to improve their facilities. The group also tries to educate the public about the importance of nature and conservation. The Master Program is specifically designed to educate attendees in becoming teachers and promoters of nature themselves.
