Levittown to celebrate St. Patricks Day with cooking course

The Levittown Public Library will be holding a themed cooking class this March as a way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

Adults who enjoy cooking can participate in the upcoming Irish soda bread muffins baking course, where students will be given a guided lesson on how to create 10 muffins. Chef Rob will teach the class at the library’s Innovation Station. Attendees will need to bring their own utensils to the course and can take home the muffins they bake. Organizations that offer public lessons like this can use Print shops to make Posters to advertise the course.

The cooking class offered by the Levittown Public Library is part of a series of courses that adults can join. Chef Rob has led a few cooking classes in the past, such as his lesson on preparing cashew chicken and green onion fried rice. Another event offered at the library will teach attendees how to make jambalaya with the help of Chefs Andrea and Jason Moss.

Anyone interested in celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a cooking course can join Chef Rob at the Innovation Station on Friday, March 6. There will be two sessions that people can choose from, with one being at 2:30 pm and the second starting at 6:30 pm. The cost to attend the cooking lesson will be $5 per person. Residents of the Levittown UFSD can register for the program earlier than nonmembers.
