Chocolate lovers in Levittown will soon have a new one-stop shop for all their sweet-toothed needs, as another branch of the Chocolate Works franchise is set to open in nearby Plainview this summer.
Chocolate Works currently has six other stores across Long Island, including in Stony Brook, Commack, Manhasset, and Garden City. Its newest, and seventh, location is set to open in a 1,444-square-foot retail outlet in the Plainview Shopping Center. The company signed a lease for the space with Sabre Real Estate Groups.
No date has been set for its official opening yet, but the plan is to open by the end of summer.
Stores that are getting ready to open can use poster printing to help keep customers up to date on the progress, and to let new customers know what will be opening in the outlet.
The Chocolate Works concept blends old-fashioned candy store with a chocolate factory. Its retail outlets sell a wide range of chocolates. One of its more popular offering is a ‘5th Avenue Truffle’. The stores also offer more exotic options, such as chili chocolate nibs and chocolate martini olives.
The stores also let guests get in on the action and help make the chocolate. Stores regularly offer candy-making workshops and other chocolate-themed events. People are also able to book the store for private chocolate-making parties for birthdays, bachelorette parties, and other occasions.
