The Levittown Public Library’s ‘Moving-Up Day’, which provides fun activities for students who will be entering the 6th Grade, is taking place later this month, and can be signed up for next week.
Parents will be able to book their children on a couple of activity events during the day, and the kids will be able to meet other soon-to-be middle school students from the area and explore the different offerings the library has.
In the morning, there will be an iPad photo collage event where kids will learn to use the device to take pictures and create a collage. The next event is a more old school crafts project and will have the kids make a wallet out of duct Tape. There will be a break, and then in the afternoon there will be a Locker Organizer event, which is fairly self-explanatory. Finally, the last session of the day will let kids play different board and video games that the library owns.
Promoters for the library may want to create Flyers that they can hand out in schools to children, or Postcards to send out to local parents who might want their kids to attend this event.
