JAMS Festival returns to New York

A cultural festival is to be held this August in Queens.

The Jamaica Arts and Music Summer Festival is a celebration of art and culture from residents, featuring food, entertainment, and music. This is a two-part event, which first begins with a live concert, followed by the festival. The concert will feature live performances which will combine various musical genres like jazz, R&B, rock, hip-hop, and funk.

On the day of the festival, patrons can look forward to over 400 exhibitions of foods from various countries. This setup will span 10 blocks along Jamaica Avenue. The street will be closed to traffic, and guests may roam free as they explore this explosion of food, culture, and art.

This event is an effort by the Cultural Collaborative Jamaica, a local organization dedicated to the unification and successful operation of local leaders, educators, and artists. Their focus is on the economic prosperity of these groups while strengthening the relationships among them. They aim to drive this development through cultural events such as this one.

This event is open and free to attend to residents all across the state, as far as Levittown, New York. Flyer printing may offer unique ways for vendors to advertise their products to attendees at events such as this.

This event will be held on August 5 and 6 along Jamaica Avenue. The festival begins at 11:00 am and ends at 6:00 pm.
