Levittown residents looking for a great place to work do not have to look very far, as nearby Northwell Health has recently been named a top place to work in the healthcare industry by Fortune.
The largest health system in New York, it earned the number 13 spot on the nationwide list, put together based on responses from employees.
Employers who earn a spot on the list can use Stationery printers to let both current and potential employees know about their impressive ranking.
Along with coming in at number 13 nationally, the health system earned the second highest ranking in the Northeast. The company employs 66,000 people, 700 of whom responded to a survey issued by Great Place to Work and Fortune.
The survey, which was anonymous, had 50 questions, on subjects from leadership and trust. Employees were also asked if they were proud of their employers or if they liked the people they worked with.
To earn its high rankings, about 90% of the respondents from Northwell said that they were proud to let people know where they worked. Around the same percentage also stated that they felt their employer made a positive contribution to the local community.
Additionally, the vast majority (88%) of respondents from Northwell stated that they felt that what they did on the job had special meaning.
