Gardens set for musical medley

The Old Westbury Gardens out on Long Island will be shutting down soon for the winter, but there is still time to visit the grounds, and enjoy some of the events being hosted there. For starters , the Long Island Flute Club will be playing a holiday concert at the Gardens, where they will be performing classic holiday songs.

Originally created in 1984, the Long Island Flute club is part of the National Flute Association and seeks to provide support of student and professional flutists alike. There are a variety of events each season that members can perform in, as well as master classes and the opportunity to network with others in the field.

The Old Westbury Gardens are a famous Long Island estate that was once owned by John S. Phipps. The estate, which was designed by George A. Crawley and completed in 1906, is now open the public who can enjoy guided tours and numerous events that take place on its grounds throughout the year.

The organizers and promoters for this event may want printed materials like Flyers or Posters to advertise with. Distributing these in nearby areas like Levittown may help draw in a larger audience. Printing companies can help to create these kinds of marketing items.

The event takes place tomorrow, December 7, at 1:00 pm. The concert will be held in the Red Ballroom of the estate, and it is free to attend after purchasing admission to the grounds.
