Fundraising walk offers hope to Levittown area

A fundraising walk is being organized for the Levittown area next month to honor the legacy of Andrew C. DeMarco and his battle with angiosarcoma.

The Andrew C. DeMarco Foundation is set to welcome walkers who want to enjoy a fun day in nature and honor the legacy of a Levittown resident. The event aims to raise funds and awareness of angiosarcoma to aid patients and families affected by the condition. The money raised by the walk will be donated to attempt to find a cure.

Interested parties can attend the walk in person or virtually, and participants will walk to honor Andrew’s courage and legacy. Attendees will also learn more about the rare and aggressive form of cancer that affects others throughout the United States. Banner printing is a welcoming way to greet walkers as they complete the course at such fundraisers.

The Andrew C. DeMarco Foundation will also welcome a special guest speaker to the event. Grace Robertson will share her inspirational story to honor her husband, Matt, who battled angiosarcoma. Drinks and food will not be provided, though participants are welcome to bring them from home.

The fundraising walk will be held in Cedar Creek Park on Sunday, September 29th, with registration beginning at 9:00 AM and the event concluding at 11:00 AM. Tickets cost $25 per attendee and can be purchased online or at the door.
