Fundraiser to be held in Levittown

The Governor’s Comedy Club will host a fundraiser event this May.

The name of the event is the Sunday Funnies Fundraiser, and it will benefit the Westbury Arts organization. This is a non-profit group that specializes in coordinating art events in the Westbury District. It also creates cultural and art programs for the locals with the mission of educating, inspiring, and connecting the community.

Events like this help to raise awareness and finances for Westbury Arts’ cause, the aim of which is to create a safe space where art and culture are valued by the community, and may become a source of pride for its members.

The line-up will include local comedians, with admission restricted to those age 16 and older. The venue will also have food and refreshments available for purchase. Each person in attendance must purchase two of these items as a minimum.

Tickets will cost $20 each and are available for purchase on the Eventbrite listing, as well as at the venue. Those interested must reserve their tickets in advance of the event. This event will be held at the Governors' Comedy Club on May 15, located at 90 Division Avenue Levittown, New York 11756. Proceedings begin at 7:00 pm, and guests should arrive by 6:30 pm.
