To experience the free live music, Levittown residents can take a short trip down to the nearby Mineola 2020 Summer Concerts in the Park.
This music event is held throughout the summer with multiple bands across such genres as rock, soft rock, pop, funk, ‘70s dance, disco, and jazz. In addition to discovering new bands, concertgoers can collect Business Cards or flyer printings of upcoming events for their favorite bands.
This event takes place in the evenings and is suitable for families and children of all ages. Concertgoers are asked to bring their beach towels, picnic blankets, and/or lawn chairs.
The Mineola 2020 Summer Concerts in the Park takes place throughout the summer months at the Mineola Memorial Park Amphitheatre. The concerts generally take place on Saturdays and begin between 7:00 and 8:00 pm.
To enjoy the warm weather, music lovers can attend the first summer concert on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 7:30 pm. Pat Farrell and the Cold Spring Harbor band will be playing a Billy Joel tribute.
For families with children, an alternative option could be The Littler Merman, which is a Disney rock cover band. They will be playing on Friday, July 17, 2020 at 7:30 pm.
