Cocktail event turns five years old

The Long Island Cocktail Fest will soon be held at Mulcahy's Pub and Concert Hall, located on Railroad Avenue, about five miles from Levittown.

The historic cocktail festival has been featured in Journals such as Time Out in New York, Edible Long Island, and Newsday, and this marks its fifth year since its inception.

The event will feature over 50 tastings of cocktails and pints from Long Island's top bars, breweries, and wineries, including The Rose Room Speakeasy, Rust & Gold, and Bakuto Bar. Therefore, guests can expect to taste a range of cocktails and drinks, from rum and tequila, to whiskey, wine, and bourbon.

Apart from tastings, locals and visitors can partake in LI Cocktail Fest's competitions and Long Island's Best Cocktail Awards. Being a milestone year, this year's event introduces a VIP Exclusive Lounge Experience and rooms specifically designed for cocktail-tasting escapades. Quick treats and hearty meals will be available at the venue.

The festival sponsors appear to have leveraged different media to promote the event, including digital Posters and flyer printing services. For more information, the event planners will be posting more announcements on Instagram before the festival date. As detailed in the leaflets, the tickets will cost between $20 and $30 and can be purchased online or at the venue, with no refunds available.

The fair is scheduled to take place this Sunday, October 11, beginning at 2:00 pm.
