Celebrity Golf Classic to return for 35th year

The annual Celebrity Golf Classic is set to celebrate its 35th birthday next month. Founded by New York Jets legend, Marty Lyons, the event has been a Long Island staple for over three decades.

The fundraiser attracts more than 300 participants each year, many of which are former athletes. The classic will raise money to help give wishes to children facing terminal diseases. Over 90% of proceeds will go towards this charitable cause. Anyone from Long Island is welcome to join the event, including those from Levittown.

Golf play will begin with a shotgun start in the morning. Play will run into the afternoon, where it will cap off with a cocktail party. The event will then transition to its evening program, featuring awards, silent auction, and raffle, where guests will have a chance to win Promotional Products and other goods.

Organizers are also accepting sponsors for the event. There are numerous options available, ranging from $750 to $25,000, with each providing different kinds of benefits like virtual ads and tee Signs.

The event will take place on September 28th, with play starting at 10:00 AM. Tickets to the entire event are $1500 per person. The fundraiser will happen at the Bethpage State Park on 99 Quaker Meeting House Road, Farmingdale.
