The NYC Marathon is around the corner, and runners from the Levittown region are in luck, as a bus service is planning to help participants on their way to Staten Island.
The Runner’s Edge 2024 NYC Marathon is preparing to kick off in a few weeks, and local bussing services are ready and willing to take Levittown residents to the starting point for a convenient start to the long day. The bus will take runners from Fort Wadsworth on Staten Island before picking up runners at the end of the run at 62nd Street and Columbus Avenue for a stress-free travel experience.
Runners who choose to use the bus service can nap, relax, enjoy a cold beverage, or eat a snack until the bus departs for home around 5:30 PM. Printing services are a helpful way to share bussing information about pick-up times for logistics and other similar events. Directions and a map will be attached to the information given to runners during registration in the morning.
The shuttle bus will offer complimentary bagels, bottled water, and beer. The local store Runner’s Edge is organizing the transportation service.
The buses will meet in front of the store at 4:45 AM on Sunday, November 3, the morning of the run. Interested parties can reserve a space on the bus online for $77 per guest.
