Long Island’s second annual “Premier Business Women Awards Gala” will happen in Farmingdale next month.
The event is organized by RichnerLIVE, an organization that brings community and business events to Long Island. The gala will recognize and honor female business leaders in Long Island, including those from Levittown. Winners will be chosen by a committee, and nominees can be self-submitted or put forward by a colleague.
Awards will be divided into several categories like accounting, education, insurance, and technology. The jury will also give awards to emerging young leaders and lifetime leaders that have stayed dedicated to their industry.
The gala is also a networking and socializing opportunity for attendees, who can take this chance to find new connections. Events like these can use business card printing to help facilitate these social exchanges. Attendees can also join as sponsors, where a part of the proceeds will go towards a local charity.
The gala will take place on July 14 between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM. It will happen at the Heritage Club at Bethpage, located at 99 Quaker Meeting House Road. Tickets for the gala are $190 per person and can be bought in multiples for groups. Anyone in need of more information or wants to sponsor can email Amy Amato at aamato@liherald.com or call her at 516-569-4000 x224.
