A taco festival is coming to Buffalo next month to support a good cause, and area residents are invited to be part of the flavors and festivities.
At the 2024 Taco Fest and Suicide Prevention event, the goal is to provide new flavors to attendees and raise awareness of an important issue. The festival aims to combine flavorful food with a music festival, with artists like Akloh, Reese Daniels, and Goodbye Metro performing for attendees.
The festival offers general admission tickets that provide guests with music and unlimited tacos at the event’s venue. Money spent on tickets will go toward causes connected with suicide prevention.
The event’s history started in a high school, with Cinco de Mayo falling on Taco Tuesday. The event now honors the classmate whose idea evolved into Taco Fest. Flyer printing can be an effective way to spread awareness of events like this.
Proceeds from Taco Fest will go to the Devin Waring Foundation and The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Guests are encouraged to dress for the weather and arrive early for tacos and tunes.
Deep South Taco will host the festival on Saturday, June 1. Doors open at 11:30 AM, and the show continues until 10:00 PM. Tickets are available online from sites like Eventbrite and start at $33.85 per guest.
