Santa is coming back to Buffalo; in fact, a whole bunch of Santas will be in Buffalo soon.
The occasion is the upcoming SantaCon Buffalo 2022, and the following North Poll Stroll, a city-wide event that allows participants to visit their favorite bars, enjoy a holiday beverage, and support the Boys & Girls Club at the same time.
SantaCons are held in cities throughout the world, with masses of people all dressed as Santa Claus meeting simply to have fun. The day focuses on creativity and spontaneity, as people enjoy themselves while they spread goodwill. Friends, families, and strangers all come together in the streets to sing Christmas carols and have a blast.
Costumes are mandatory, and they must have a Santa-theme of some type. The traditional Santa Claus is fine, but people are encouraged to get creative and dress as Pirate Santa, Terminator Santa, or even one of Santa’s elves or his reindeer.
Participating bars are Cowboy, 67 West, Bottoms Up, VENU, Rec Room, Taphouse, Local, Banshee, and SOHO. Registration locations are VENU and Banshee, and tickets are $15, which includes entrance to the event, giveaways, and drink specials. Organizers of events like these can use flyer printing to create Signs identifying participating bars.
SantaCon Buffalo 2022 takes place December 3. Participants will meet at VENU at 75 West Chippewa at 1:30 pm, where they will have a chance to take photos before the North Pole Stroll.
