Congressman Brian Higgins, who represents New York's 26th District, described Niagara Street as the
“gateway to the city center”
for Americans, and as a gateway to the entire nation for visitors from Canada. Higgins says that a number of projects to improve the infrastructure, which have received over $10 million in federal funds, will transform the street into a more welcoming corridor for visitors entering Buffalo. He also believes improving Niagara Street will encourage investment from the private sector, and enhance the neighborhoods that it traverses.
Among the improvements made thus far are upgraded crosswalks, curbs, and sidewalks. The work is being done in phases, with the first phase of the redevelopment scheduled to be completed sometime this summer.
Agencies like these can benefit from working with a flyer printing company that can create materials outlining the progress of various types of municipal projects. They can also benefit from working with a newsletter printing company, which can also help create updates on this kind of work.
