Gingerbread takes over Buffalo

A highly anticipated Gingerbread Architecture Family Workshop is planned in Buffalo. The family-friendly activity welcomes locals and visitors to enjoy a fun holiday-inspired afternoon.

Graham crackers will be the star of the gingerbread houses, along with frosting and other tempting sweets. Participants will learn how to design, construct and decorate their gingerbread creations. All materials will be provided for the gingerbread architects.

Builders will most likely whet their appetites while constructing their houses, so the organizers have it covered with cookies, coffee, and milk available.

Posters are often used to highlight features of an event or class and can be placed in strategic locations at events. Poster printing in full color can produce interesting communication.

The Gingerbread Architecture Family Workshop will be held on December 4 from 3:00 to 4:00 pm at the Frank Lloyd Wright’s Martin House in the Statler Café. It will take place behind the carriage house. The address is 125 Jewett Parkway. The price is $15 for one adult and one child. It is $5 for additional adults and children in the party.

Following the workshop, the annual Tree of Light, which features the lighting of the tree at the Martin House, will take place between 4:00 and 6:00 pm. This is an open community event and there is no charge to watch the spectacular tree lighting as the holidays get underway.
