What's Happening in Buffalo, NY…

Country artists coming to Buffalo

A popular country band that formed in 2001 is coming to Buffalo, along with a friend.

Parmalee comprises Josh McSwain, Barry Knox, and brothers Scott and Matt Thomas. The brothers had been in their father’s band, Jerry Thomas and the Thomas Brothers Band. When Jerry retired, the brothers decided to carry on the performing tradition and formed their own band. “Daylight,” their first EP, got them noticed by David Bendeth, a producer at RCA. At Bendeth’s request, they recorded three songs in New Jersey, which won them a publishing deal with Windswept Publishing in Los Angeles.

Bendeth stepped in again and invited them to record 12 more songs, which then became their first full-length album, “Inside.” After the release of their debut album, Parmalee toured for two years to promote it. They have now released eight studio albums, dropping their most recent, “Fell in Love with a Cowgirl,” in 2025, and have put several singles at the top of the Billboard Country Airplay charts.

A review says:
“The show was amazing....the only downfall was that it was too short!!”

Also appearing at this concert is Avery Anna, an up-and-coming singer/songwriter who is making a name for herself in country music. A native of Flagstaff, Arizona, she is now based in Nashville.

Parmalee and Avery Anna will be at the Town Ballroom in Buffalo on March 1. Organizers will often promote events like this by using poster printing to create suitable advertising.
