Changes afoot in to Buffalo property market

There will be changes in the real estate market in Buffalo soon, as Gold Wynn Residential recently announced it has acquired 18 properties formerly belonging to Kissling Interests LLC. The purchase gives Gold Wynn commercial space totaling 85,000 square feet, and 841 apartments.

The acquired properties are in Niagara and Erie Counties, and include addresses on North, Summer, and Main Streets, along with Delaware Avenue and Linwood Avenue, as well as the following:

• The Allentown Apartments

• The Allentown Lofts

• Buffalo Townhomes

• Gates Circle Apartments on Delaware Avenue

• Remington Lofts, located in North Tonawanda

• The Ambassador

• The Mansion On North

• Townhomes At Delsan Court

• West Huron Lofts

The acquisition means Kissling is no longer in possession of any properties in the area, but Gold Wynn announced that all employees of Kissling will be brought aboard, increasing the number of employees to approximately 50. In addition, Gold Wynn said it plans to invest about $5m over the next several years to upgrade some of the properties it has just acquired. Measures like this can benefit if companies use flyer printing to keep residents informed of developments.

A spokesperson for Gold Wynn said the company is confident that Buffalo has a great future, and is investing in that vision accordingly. Gold Wynn currently owns seven properties in Buffalo, which it also manages. These include the building that housed the Buffalo Athletic Club.
