Cage the Elephant is the headliner at CRNVL, and they are accompanied by Michigander, Phantom Planet, and White Reaper.
Cage the Elephant got together in 2006 in the United States, but wound up in London soon after. In the UK, they appeared with such artists as Coldplay and Sia, and have also performed at Coachella and other major festivals.
A review of Cage the Elephant says:
“Absolutely spectacular performance, a true rock show reminiscent of the best days of the Stones, Bowie, and the Strokes.”
Although Michigander performs as a band for recordings and live shows, its success is due to the vision of its frontman, Jason Singer. Michiganders has been touring and releasing its music since 2016.
Phantom Planet got started in Los Angeles in 1994, and is probably best known for the song “California,” which became the theme for TV series “The O.C.” A review effused:
“Awesome band with wonderful songs . . . Wish these guys would play again.”
White Reaper formed in 2014 in Louisville, Kentucky, and have released several albums. Their 2019 effort, “You Deserve Love,” was on a major label, Elektra. Fans say:
“This band was awesome. . . . good rock music from young musicians ...”
CRNVL is set for June 21, at 6:30 pm at the Buffalo RiverWorks. Flyer printing can be used to create handouts publicizing events like this.
