Buffalo to host virtual yearly awards event

Next month in Buffalo, the 30th Annual ATHENA Awards event is set to take place virtually.

The Buffalo Niagara Partnership is the host of this one-and-a-half hour event, which acknowledges women’s’ professional achievements. The Partnership serves the Buffalo area as its chamber of commerce, which helps develop the local economy and aid residents in their job search efforts and in developing business skills.

The Title Sponsor of the 30th Annual ATHENA Awards event is Northwest. Other sponsors include Buffalo Magazine, Seneca Resorts and Casinos, and Lumsden McCormick.

For 2021, this yearly Buffalo event will honor three categories of finalists including The ATHENA Organizational Award, The ATHENA Young Professional Award, and The Athena Leadership Award. The recipients of the listed awards will speak on topics including developing more inclusive work cultures, navigating the pandemic, and the future of their work. Poster printing is a popular method used by hosts of related events to create visually captivating promotional materials.

Tickets to the event are available for purchase online and cost $10 for per person. For organizations, registration costs $350 for the ATHENA Corporate Champion option, which includes a half-page advertisement benefit in the 2021 ATHENA program, and unlimited tickets for any number of organization members. The ATHENA Corporate Champion full-page ad benefit for organizations costs $700 per company.

The 2021 online Annual ATHENA Awards is scheduled to begin at 11:30 am on Wednesday, April 28 and conclude at 1:00 pm.
