Buffalo to dish up Mac and Cheese Festival

In what has to be one of the best decisions ever, Buffalo is putting on the Buffalo Mac and Cheese Festival and inviting food vendors, food trucks, and top chefs to serve their version of one of the most popular dishes ever invented. If all that gooey cheese weren't enough, the festival is also providing samples of ciders, wines and craft beers.

Fans of this delicious dish should be aware there will be more than 30 vendors and chefs on hand to provide their version of the treat. Attendees will vote to give one participant the title of “Best Mac and Cheese in Buffalo,” and that chef or vendor will take home $500. There will also be entertainment and live music, but the list of performers is still being finalized.

Tickets are available at several levels: just entry; general admission; and VIP. The first just entry ticket is for Session 1, from 12.30 until 3.30 pm; general admission is for the same hours, but includes ten food tickets and one drink ticket, plus live entertainment. VIP tickets include early entrance, private area, ten food tickets and two tickets for drinks. There is also a second session, from 6.00 pm until 9.00 pm; the VIP tickets allow entry at 5.00 pm.

The Buffalo Mac and Cheese Festival will be held at Buffalo RiverWorks on Ganson Street on August 22. Events like this provide an outstanding opportunity for participants to distribute Business Cards.
