The Theatre Alliance of Buffalo (TAB) is hosting a panel discussion soon to discuss the current theater scene in the city, and where it might go in the future. The discussion is entitled ‘Buffalo Theatre-Where to Now?’ and will be held in mid-December.
Theater arts in Buffalo have undergone a renaissance, with people becoming interested and excited by opportunities in the arts. National attention is drawn to the Buffalo area, so the Alliance is determined to create a vital cultural community here.
As a method for TAB to start connecting with community members, theaters that are members of the group decided to hold discussions, hoping this will be the start of a series of events. They plan to hold them at the theaters that are members of TAB on a rotating basis. Member theaters include the Theatre of Youth, MusicalFare Theatre, Road Less Traveled Productions, and the Irish Classical Theatre Company.
The event will be held at the Irish Classical Theatre on December 12, starting at 7:00 pm.
After the discussion, TAB invites both performers and members of the public to enjoy a holiday party in the lobby bar of the Road Less Traveled Theater, at 8:00 pm. There is a $10 cash cover charge, with proceeds going to benefit TAB.
Discussions like this can be enhanced when organizers work with flyer printing companies, which can create agendas for a meeting.
