Buffalo opens its doors

Open Doors Buffalo will take place in the fall, providing an opportunity for locals and visitors to look inside buildings, including areas not usually open to the public.

The mission of the event is to deepen the appreciation of the unique historical architecture in the area, and build relationships with the community. Some of the most distinguished and interesting buildings will open their doors and allow the public to enter while learning the history and significance. Peaking inside traditional off-limits areas highlights the experience.

Posters are ideal for succinctly pointing out special features and areas at places like this, and hanging up at various points of interest. Poster printing can include images, history, and other relevant information.

Doors Open Buffalo consists of touring 25 downtown buildings in a self-paced and self-guided manner. The meeting point is in the Central Library and is the hub for the general information. A map may be picked up and utilized throughout the adventure. All of the buildings participating in the event are within a one-mile distance of the library.
