Buffalo gets the Led out

Fans of the legendary band Led Zeppelin can enjoy some of their favorite songs presented by Grosh.

Grosh, a Buffalo band, is presenting ‘Ramble On: A Led Zeppelin Tribute’, that will get the new year off to a rocking start. The four-member ensemble comprises bassist Dylan Hund, drummer Josh English, guitarist Grace Lougen, and vocalist Megan Brown. Grosh cites Led Zeppelin as one of the bands that has influenced their sound, but they also are inspired by Pearl Jam.

The group’s debut album is “Whether or Not You Know,” which captures the feeling of old-time rock and roll, then adds a modern twist to it. The group’s music carries a message; the lyrics consider various aspects of mental health. One track is “Piece of Mind,” which gives hope to people who struggle with these issues.

One review says the band is based in the blues, powered by soul, with originality and passion driven by “the killer six string skills of Grace Lougen.” It adds that the band blends modern and retro rock to create a “hard rockin' vibe.”

The show is set for January 18, from 9:00 pm until midnight, at Sportsmens Tavern on Amherst Street. The band will play again on January 19, starting at 4.00 pm. Flyer printing can be used to create handouts advertising events like this.
