Buffalo explores leaves in workshop

A special workshop will be offered online for residents of Buffalo. The Leaf Impressions program will consist of four sessions over a four-week period.

Participants will find a suitable type of leaf to be used in the paint program. The leaves will be used to stamp an impression in watercolor on the painting. The attendees will then paint fruit or flowers using the leaf as the focal point, featuring a tree on which the leaf would grow.

The painting masterpiece will be completed using splattered paint as well as adding gauze texturing and Stamps from rubber.

Graphic design is often used in virtual presentations to create a pleasing and interesting visual journey. Local printing services typically have graphic artists on staff to assist with the designs needed.

The classes and workshops will be recorded for those who may miss a class or need to review one. They will be available for four weeks after the conclusion of the class. Participants will have a month to catch up on a missed class.

Buffalo Botanical Gardens, located at 2655 South Park Avenue, is presenting the Leaf Impressions classes. They begin on August 19 and be offered via Zoom, with access information given upon registering online. The classes will begin at 6:30 pm and conclude at 8:30 pm.
