A “purr-fect” idea for a staycation activity will soon be welcoming Williamsville residents, and while they enjoy the views from out on the water, the passengers will be helping to improve the lives of area homeless cats.
Ten Lives Club offers felines a second chance, and to help fund its efforts, it has partnered with Grand Lady Cruise, Inc. Tickets start at $38 for adults and $20 for kids, and a portion of both ticket sales and the overall proceeds from the outing will be donated to the cause
Passengers will board The Grand Lady for their cruise, and it will depart from its new dock at 275 Ganson Street in Buffalo. They can enjoy the cool breezes and views of the area cityscape over the course of the two-hour excursion. Air conditioning will be available, and there will be plenty of photo ops both inside and outside the vessel.
People who support a cause may appreciate the opportunity to learn how their contribution is making an impact. A poster printing company will be happy to put together a package of decor materials that serve this purpose.
Cruise for Cause will be giving Williamsville area cats a helping paw up on Sunday, August 6. It will set sail at 6:30 pm, and tickets for the outing can be purchased through the host’s website.
