Williamsville is about to add a touch of warmth to winter when it welcomes one and all for a “Souper” event.
The community will see the return of the 8th Annual Johnny Cansdale Soup Stroll, and it will be held along Main Street. The monies raised will help to keep the shelves at the Feedmore WNY-Buffalo Food Bank of WNY full, and the Williamsville Business Association is organizing the celebration.
Those who would like to be part of the fun can start their stroll at any one of the participating locations, and each will be serving up a 3 oz sample for $1.00. Everyone will be able to visit as many venues as they wish during its three-hour run time. As they may choose to walk from stop to stop, they are reminded to dress warmly for the weather; a list of the businesses that will take part will be released as its date approaches.
A community-based fundraiser where food is served by local eateries gives these establishments a fun way to introduce themselves. A poster printing company can provide a range of marketing services that may be helpful in achieving success.
The Williamsville Business Association will be offering this winter warm up on February 22nd. It will run from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm, and its Facebook listing offers further details.
