Winter is in full swing in Williamsville, and a fundraiser will keep everyone toasty warm while helping to make sure their neighbors in need have food on their table.
The Village Soup Stroll is an annual activity facilitated by small businesses along the village's Main Street. It will offer the public an opportunity to enjoy hot soup lunch, and the monies raised will be used by Feedmore WNY’s Buffalo Food Bank.
To take part, members of the public are invited to visit the downtown shopping district and call in on the small businesses there. While they do, they will be able to sample a selection of soups priced at $1 each. They can try as many as they wish during the activity’s three-hour running time. The activity will be family friendly, and is being presented thanks to the efforts of the Williamsville Business Association.
A fundraiser that involves food may be a fun way for a not-for-profit to help fund its efforts, and they may attract plenty of attention. A poster printing company can prepare printed materials to post throughout the community to help make sure everyone knows an event is on the way.
The 7th annual Johny G. Cansdale Soup Stroll will add some extra warmth to winter on Saturday, February 24. It will run from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
