Williamsville on guestlist for fundraising soiree

A Williamsville area evening soiree will help find new treatments and maybe even a cure for an illness that impacts so many lives.

Tewksbury Lodge in Buffalo will be the venue for the 7th annual Virginia D. Moore-Rainey Fighting Lung Cancer Inc. Board of Directors’ Wear White for Lung Cancer event. As well as raising funds, it will show those living with the illness that their community stands behind them. Tickets to get involved start at $65.87.

Those on the guestlist for the occasion are asked to wear all-white attire, and food will be served to the crowd. There will be an opportunity to sit in on the storytelling by cancer survivors, and there will also be a salsa dance demonstration and a vendor area to browse through.
