A Williamsville event gives those who work hard on their garden a way to show off their pride and joy, and those who add their address to the list will welcome the public this summer.
The organizers of Garden Walk Williamsville have put out a call to the community seeking property owners who would be willing to open their garden gate for visitors to stop by and admire their efforts. Dozens of gardens will be included, and those who sign up will be added to the map and passport being prepared for the occasion.
This event, which will take place in person, will be marking its 18th year. There’s no cost to register, and gardens of all shapes, sizes and planting types are welcome. A registration form has been prepared for the occasion, and the participants are asked to complete theirs as soon as possible.
This sort of community-based event encourages the public to take pride in their property, and it also gives them a chance to meet other home horticulturalists. A flyer printing company will be able to produce maps, passports and other materials for the occasion as well as certificates to thank each participating garden owner for their contribution.
The 2021 Garden Walk Williamsville is scheduled to run from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm on July 17. The final date to apply to be a part of the fun is June 18.
