Williamsville friends to meat up at annual fundraiser

Grocery bills are on the rise, and a Williamsville area event may help some lucky winners ensure their deep freeze is full.

Educators of America works to connect those in the education sector with technology and training so they can beat the type of their game. The group’s annual Winter Meat Raffle will raise funds to help support its efforts, and it will be held at the Main-Transit Fire Department Banquet Hall, and their event has lots of fun in store.

The attendees will be trying their luck in a draw for sausages, ribs, roasts and other cuts of meat, and each ticket automatically enters the bearer’s name in the door prize draw. The pop, beer and wine will be complimentary, and everyone can bring along the snacks of their choice for themselves or to share with their tablemates. Each ticket is $10, and table bookings may also be available.

A raffle draw can be really exciting for those who take part, making them fun whether or not one wins a prize. Branded Corporate Gifts are often offered as prizes during an event, and they can be ordered from a Print shop.

The Educators of America Winter Meat Raffle will see friends “meat up” for a fun filled evening. Its doors will open at 6:00 pm, and it will take place on January 12th.
