At night, a garden often feels very different to how it does in the daylight, and Williamsville families have been invited to explore an area botanical garden by moonlight.
The institution will be throwing its gates open for a special night-time activity, and it will offer a taste of a visit to the tropics. Each family will be able to make its own discoveries in what is designed to be a fun event.
Visitors will learn about how many species have adapted to night-time pollinators, and they will even be able to meet some resident amphibians and their creatures. There will also be a chance to meet some bees and other garden helpers, and while the kids are enjoying themselves, the parents can feel confident they will be safe as COVID-19 prevention protocols will be strictly followed.
Reservations are required for this activity, and each family is asked to limit their visit to no more than an hour and a half. When it's time to head for home, each child will be welcome to pick up a swag bag that will be filled with Corporate Gifts and activities they can enjoy later on.
Spaces in this evening are now available for booking, and they are expected to fill up fast. It will take place on February 5.
