The community’s Island Park will be the venue for Growing the Canopy, which will be an activity dedicated to putting the area’s ecosystem in the spotlight. It will be filled with both fun and learning, and several local businesses and groups have been invited to participate.
The function will see a variety of presentations that cover topics ranging from the benefits of choosing native species to general ecology, and everyone can visit the vendor booths.
