Williamsville campers to enjoy early Halloween festivities

After summer draws to a close, Williamsville families will still be able to enjoy a campout experience thanks to a local KOA Holiday Campground.

The staff at the Niagara Fall/Grand Island KOA Holiday property offer fun throughout the camping year, and has extended the season by planning special Halloween-themed fun for the month of October. It is open to registered campers only, and there will be lots of activities on the agenda.

Families participating in the weekend will be asked to decorate their site with spooky or funny seasonal decor, and prizes will be presented to the judge’s choice. The kids are reminded to bring along their costume for the trick-or-treat parade, while the parents and older guests can play their part by handing out candy and other treats.

Along with the costume and decor competitions, everyone will be able to paint a pumpkin, learn how to tie-dye fabric, enjoy an ice-cream social and craft an art project. A poster printing company can prepare materials for an event to let the attendees know what is going on and help them plan their time accordingly.

This early start to the fun of Halloween will be held on Friday, October 7 and Saturday, October 8 at 2570 Grand Island Boulevard in Grand Island. Reservations may be made online or by calling 1-800-562-0787.
