Williamsville area to screen cult movie classic

Attending a screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show has become a cultural phenomenon, and Williamsville fans of the 1975 flick may want to purchase their ticket now for a local viewing.

The Screening Room Cinema and Cafe is offering tickets for its Rocky Horror Picture Show screening, which will be accompanied by a live shadow cast. It will feature the theatrical talents of the Francis Bacon Experiment, and only limited numbers of passes are being sold.

The picture, which includes stars such as Tim Curry and Meatloaf, combines science fiction with gothic-style horror, and it has become a popular choice for midnight movies and other special showings. The doors will open an hour ahead of the curtain going up, and tickets are $15 each. Everyone who plans on attending is advised to arrive early so they can secure their preferred seat.

While it has become a tradition for those attending a showing of the movie to bring along their own set of props, the organizers have made a request that these be left at home. They will be supplying Bags of props and other Promotional Products for purchase.
